About the Show:
Locked Upside Down is a half hour digital circus film created by Stephanie VanDyck, Leyna Bella, and Kasha Konaka. The three artists use hand balancing and contortion to express their experiences navigating this pandemic stricken world. They explore the possibilities and obstacles of being locked within the confined spaces of their homes as they dream of one day returning to the stage.
Who are we:
We are three circus arists living in Vancouver who have worked in the live performing industry for many years. After many months of stress over the loss of work and performance opportunities caused by the pandemic, we decided to create our own opporunity and develop this online show based on our feeling and experineces during these strange times.
How the tickets works:
You get to choose which weekend you will watch the show. Your ticket gives you access to the link to see our show and a passcode that will last for the enitre weekend of your purchase, from Friday at 5:00pm until Sunday at 11:50pm. This format allows you to watch the show whenever is convenient for you and as often as you wish during that time. You will receive an email with the link and passcode at 5:00pm on the Friday of your purchase.
The tickets are avaiable on a sliding scale to accomodate different financial needs. Please choose the ticket that best suits you, all tickets will receive the same product.
